Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Network Engineer in Mansfield, Connecticut. In this role, you will be primarily dealing with routing, switching, and network security. Your work will also revolve around various Cisco technologies and some Juniper systems. This role will involve working closely with wireless networks and network security, in addition to handling Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Firewalls. Responsibilities: • Ensuring efficient and secure setup, configuration, and maintenance of routing and switching operations. • Understanding and implementing fundamentals of network security. • Working with various wireless networks such as Wi-Fi, Fiber, and 5G. • Handling VPNs and Firewalls for secure and efficient network communication. • Working mainly with Cisco technologies and some Juniper systems. • Managing Palo Alto Firewalls as well as Fortinet systems. • Handling IPAM Infoblox for efficient IP address management. • Operating with Nexus Switches and ISE (Identity Service Engine). • Managing and maintaining Cisco, Juniper routers, and switches. • Ensuring efficient wireless access and connectivity. • Monitoring network security and taking appropriate action when required. Requirements • Minimum of five years experience in a Network Engineering role • Proficient in Cisco Technologies and Products, including but not limited to Cisco Routers, Access Points, Hardware, Identity Services Engine, Networking, Nexus and Wireless • Knowledge of Datacenter operations • Experience with Juniper systems, including Networks, Routers, and Switches • Familiarity with Palo Alto Firewall and Fortinet Firewalls • Expertise in Wireless technology, including Access, Access Points, Connectivity, Infrastructure, Networking, Networks, Routers, and Technologies • Proficiency in Network Security and Network Security Monitoring • Experience with Fiber Optic Networks • Knowledge of Infoblox systems Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
