Network Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer with a strong focus on infrastructure and operations support and network security. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of a wide variety of network technologies, protocols, and operational support framework best practices. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the infrastructure is efficiently monitored, recommended code fixes/patches are implemented and efficient operation of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Engineering:

Implement and maintain network solutions and architectures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance standards with our Network Engineering & InfoSec Team.

Operational Support & Maintenance:

Lead the management and monitoring for network appliances (Firewalls, SD-WAN, Cloud, Switches and Routers), rules and policies to safeguard the network perimeter as well as remediating known vulnerabilities as well as maintaining our baseline as current across our infrastructure.Deploy, fine-tune, and maintain on-premises and cloud managed edge policies for Corporate, Retail and Distribution Centers with Global standard focus.

Global Infrastructure:

Collaborate with teams to establish secure remote access protocols and enforce access controls.Lead technology transformation to support technology vision to central management and standardization global with scalable and resilient designExpand our new Global standard infrastructure to continue the modernization efforts for Corporate and Distribution Centers

Network Monitoring and Incident Response:

Monitor network traffic for anomalies and security incidents and respond promptly to mitigate potential threats.Participate in incident response activities, partner with security counterparts to mitigate known risks, and contribute to post-incident analysis and recommendations.

Patch Management and Vulnerability Assessment:

Develop and execute patch management strategies to keep network devices and systems up to date with the latest code remediation & security patches.Conduct regular assessments and automate posture controls to remedy operations in the network infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities, work closely with our partners for code update, and to propose and implement remediations that align with industry best practice.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network policies, procedures, and configurations.Generate regular reports on network metrics, incidents, and trends to provide insights to management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, PCNSA, ACA) preferred.Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on network infrastructure and operations support.Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and architecture.Experience with firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, and other network security technologies.Proficiency in security tools for monitoring, analysis, and vulnerability assessment.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network security issues.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Salary $90,000 - $135,000
