Network Engineer
Description We are on the lookout for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team based in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be chiefly responsible for enhancing and supporting our wireless infrastructure, focusing on future planning and design. You will also ensure the continuous improvement and maintenance, troubleshooting of Wireless Network Services, and contribute to the secure implementation and configuration of Network Services with an emphasis on Wi-Fi and security. Responsibilities: • Implement and consistently improve the wireless infrastructure, planning, and designing for future needs. • Execute maintenance and troubleshooting for Wireless Network Services. • Utilize monitoring technologies to ensure optimal performance. • Assist in the secure implementation and regular configuration of Network Services, focusing on Wi-Fi and security. • Take the lead in scoping, planning, and methodology for critical projects and drive execution. • Identify and resolve issues in the environment. • Contribute to Business Continuity, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery designs for Network Services. • Stay updated on industry vulnerabilities and implement updates to protect the environment. • Create and update network infrastructure documentation. • Document incidents, problems, and requests in the ticketing system. • Respond promptly to outage alerts for multiple service areas. • Provide advanced data and situational analysis as required. • Collaborate with vendors until resolution (hardware, software, service). • Participate in on-call rotation to ensure swift response to any global network issues. • Possibly lead or mentor other team members. Requirements • Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is required • Familiarity with Checkpoint software is essential • Ability to work with Cisco ASA is necessary • Experience in handling Cisco Routers is expected • Proficiency in various Cisco Technologies is required • Knowledge of AB Testing is an advantage • Familiarity with different Backup Technologies is beneficial • Understanding of Computer Hardware is necessary • Experience in Configuration Management is required • Proficiency in managing Datacenter operations is essential • Knowledge of Azure Active Directory is crucial Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
