Job Description
Insight Global is looking a Network Engineer to join our team. This role involves conducting surveys at various sites, assessing power and cabling infrastructure for hospitals, and providing network recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a background in cabling and network engineering, with experience in switches, patches, racking, power/cooling, firewalls, and wireless technologies. This position requires travel as needed for the client.
$50-70
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
10 years of experience
Required to conduct surveys at different sites to assess power and cabling infrastructure.
Evaluate and provide recommendations on network infrastructure, including switches, patches, racking, power, and cooling.
Manage and assess firewalls and wireless technologies.
Responsible for performing wireless scanning using Ekahau and discuss switching requirements.
Make network assessments and provide detailed reports.
Understand the heating and cooling requirements of buildings.
Provide leadership and act as a site lead when necessary. Proven experience in cabling and network engineering.
Strong knowledge of switches, patches, racking, power, and cooling.
Experience with firewalls and wireless technologies.
Proficiency in wireless scanning tools such as Ekahau.
Ability to make network assessments and provide recommendations.
Leadership skills and experience as a site lead are a plus.
Willingness to travel to the Great Plains region.
Ability to work remotely when not traveling. null
