Network Engineer
Overview  Syntelligent Analytic Solutions, LLC provides uniquely qualified personnel with the expertise and tools needed to fulfill our customers’ management and technical requirements in the intelligence, defense, homeland security and commercial market space.         Our customers’ and Syntelligent’s success are built upon the core values of People First, Integrity & Accountability, Mission Driven, Community Focus and Team Oriented.      Syntelligent is seeking a full-time Network Engineer to support upcoming/contingent work at USSTRATCOM/J61    Location: Offutt AFB, NE    Schedule: Day/ M-F    Anticipated Salary Range:     Responsibilities    Duties will include:   Design, implement, and sustain Enterprise network infrastructure solutions.  Utilize modern hardware and software-defined networking (SDN) technologies.  Implement automation for deployment and sustainment using advanced monitoring and metric-based approaches.  Manage IP Address Management (IPAM), load-balancers, firewalls, proxies, taps, and related networking technologies.  Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and network security standards.  Required Qualifications:  Minimum of eight (8) years of experience as an IT Systems Engineer (SE).  Experience must include: Requirements Tradeoff, Cost Estimation, Technical Assessments, Technical Planning, Configuration Control Boards, Capabilities Based Assessments, Integrated Baseline Review, Lifecycle Sustainment Planning, Information Assurance / Cybersecurity, Requirements Traceability, Systems Engineering Plan, Work Breakdown Structure, Technical Audits  Minimum of one (1) year of experience or documented training in designing, deploying, and maintaining systems and capabilities  Must be able to obtain certification meeting 8140 series requirements within 6-months of notification  Minimum of five (5) years’ experience demonstrating written and oral communication skills including developing and presenting complex written products and oral briefings to senior leaders at the O-6/GS-15 level or higher  Senior-level specialized knowledge, skillset, and experience in creating, sustaining, modernizing, and integrating enterprise-wide server architectures  Familiarity with current USSTRATCOM Enterprise environment including Microsoft Server 2019 or later, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 or later, and Linux variants  Expertise in current automation technologies and techniques for deployment and sustainment  Proficiency in LDAP, IDAM, DNS integration, and MFA integration    Substitutions for experience:  A Master’s degree in engineering discipline or Computer Science can substitute for three (3) years of experience.  A Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or Computer Science can substitute for one (1) year of experience.  Certification Requirement:  Must possess an active intermediate or higher technical certification in Microsoft Server or Red Hat Linux  Clearance: Top Secret (TS) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)    Mental Requirements: Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.  Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.     Online applications, please.    When we review candidates' information, we are looking for the best matches for the position based on the qualifications listed in the job posting.
