Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our global, multi-location, cross-matrix team. This role involves operational support, sustaining engineering, and project-based work to maintain and enhance our network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, monitoring, and securing network services while collaborating with other IT teams to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Branch & Data Centre Switching & Routing environments.
Configure, troubleshoot, and secure wireless technologies.
Administer enterprise firewalls, particularly CheckPoint and Palo Alto.
Handle internet routing and security protocols.
Implement and support site-to-site and remote access VPN technologies.
Work with proxy technologies such as Bluecoat or McAfee.
Manage load balancers for traffic optimization and redundancy.
Administer IP address management (IPAM), DNS, DHCP, and NTP services.
Utilize network management, monitoring, and diagnostic tools to ensure system health.
Conduct network probes and packet capture analysis for troubleshooting.
Act as a technical resource for change requests, maintenance, firmware upgrades, and patch cycles.
Work closely with teams such as Service Desk, Platforms, Information Security, and End User Services.
Ensure incident, problem, and change management processes are followed within SLA and OLA guidelines.
Utilize ServiceNow for incident and request tracking.
Stay updated with technology roadmaps and emerging network technologies.
Required Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Network Operations Engineer role.
Certifications: Minimum CCNA, with preference for CCNP (or actively pursuing).

Network Management, Monitoring & Diagnostic Tools
Packet Capture & Analysis for Network Troubleshooting
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Experience working within the ITIL Framework.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow for IT service management.
Basic knowledge of voice, video, and audio-visual solutions.
Exposure to cloud technologies in networking (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
