(ESOP) + Be a part of an empowered accountability culture where each employee-owner has a meaningful stake in the + future success and growth of the company A week in the life of a Network Engineer: + Designs and implements computer and information networks. + Performs network modeling, analysis, and planning. + Researches and recommends network and data communications hardware and software. + Implement data security systems such as firewalls, virus protection software and data backups. + Provides technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems network operations. + Troubleshoots network performance issues. Analyzes network traffic and provides capacity planning solutions. + Monitors and responds to technical control network hardware and software problems. + Interfaces with vendor service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance. + Manages the testing, installation, and support of network communications systems. + Performs system-level design and configuration of products. Job Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Network Security Management, or a related field. + Active or ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required. At least five (5) years of experience in: + Network design and implementation.
