Network Engineer III
We are seeking an experienced Lead Network Engineer to manage and secure our complex IT systems and services. In this role, you will be responsible for systems security, cyber security, and information assurance (IA). You'll identify various network & system vulnerabilities, apply patches, and ensure the seamless operation of our network and End User Device (EUD) infrastructure. **Responsibilities** + Identify network, system vulnerabilities and apply necessary patches. + Design, configure, and maintain complex switching environments and multi-server setups including IP address schemes, DNS, WINS, and Ether-Channel (Bonding). + Configure and install network software for upgrades and maintenance of network systems. + Maintain multi-site network operations, software applications, operating systems, and regular maintenance tasks. + Ensure network security through proper configuration of VPNs and firewalls. + Participate in the “After Hours Duty Support” process. + Serve as backup to the Program Manager when needed. + Communicate effectively with clients and provide outstanding customer support. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. + Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IA support environment. + CompTIA Security+ certification is required. + CISSP certification is preferred. + 3 - 5 years of experience with VMware, CITRIX, Cisco switches, ACAS, HBSS, scripting and group policy, Windows Server 2016, Azure Active Directory, and firewalls. + Manage, track, and resolve support tickets in Service Now (SNOW). + Strong knowledge of VPN and Virtualization technologies is required. + Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense secret clearance. + Excellent communication and customer support skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. + Team player with a proactive attitude. **Job ID** 2025-15862 **Work Type** On-Site **Company Description** **Work Where it Matters** Tuvli, an Akima company, is not just another federal IT contractor.
