The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in network architecture and security, with specific expertise in NIST 800-53 and 800-171 standards, as well as modern SD-WAN and SASE principles.** **We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking with a focus on Arista campus LAN and wireless technologies. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable network solutions to support our organizational goals.** **Key Responsibilities** Network Design & Implementation Design and implement Arista campus LAN solutions, including switches, routers, and wireless access points. Configure and troubleshoot network devices and ensure optimal performance across the network. Wireless Network Management Manage and optimize wireless networks to ensure seamless connectivity and high performance. Conduct site surveys and analysis to determine coverage requirements and deployment strategies. Monitoring & Troubleshooting Monitor network performance using industry-standard tools and methodologies. Identify and resolve network issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed. Documentation & Reporting Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, topologies, and processes. Prepare regular reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements. Collaboration & Support Work closely with other IT teams to support various projects and initiatives. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other staff as needed. **Qualifications** 3-5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on campus LAN and wireless technologies. Technical Skills Proficiency in Arista networking equipment and software. Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, etc.). Experience with wireless technologies (802.11ac/ax) and network security practices. Certifications Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR ten years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
