Network Operations Center Lead
**Description** We are seeking an experienced and motivated Network Operations Center (NOC) Lead to oversee our NOC team. The NOC Lead will be responsible for ensuring the stability and reliability of our network infrastructure by monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving network issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network operations, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and reporting. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead and manage the NOC team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. - Monitor network performance and security, identifying and addressing issues proactively. + Coordinate incident response and resolution efforts, ensuring minimal downtime for network services. + Develop and implement NOC processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network changes and upgrades. + Maintain documentation of network configurations, incidents, and procedures. + Provide regular reporting on network performance, incidents, and resolutions to management. + Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance network operations. + Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. **Qualifications** **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with 9 years experience, or additional experience in lieu of a degree. + 5+ years of experience in network operations or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. + Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and network infrastructure (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls). + Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG). + Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams. + Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are a plus. **Preferred Skills:** + Experience with cloud networking and services (e.g., AWS, Azure). + Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices. + Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus. Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
