Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a skilled Network Operations Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be a part of our team, managing and deploying Network infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include network configuration, change implementation, and optimization of network performance. Responsibilities: • Write and engineer network device configuration scripts, ensuring proper documentation • Implement network changes during suitable after-hours change windows • Review and provide constructive feedback on the change documentation and engineering of other team members • Develop processes to test applications and devices prior to planned network deployment to assess their performance and recommend optimization steps • Act as a second-tier support for the network operations team when required • Participate in on-call support escalation rotation • Convert business needs into actionable deliverables • Handle small to medium internal data network projects • Design detailed network systems that meet customer requirements, including both physical and logical aspects • Act as a technical resource, guiding associates on data, voice, and mobile network capabilities for optimizing technology in solution design. Requirements • Possess strong customer service skills to effectively meet the needs of clients • Excellent communication skills for clearly articulating network related issues • Proven management skills to oversee network operations • Sales experience to contribute to the growth of the company • Ability to create clear and concise documentation of network operations • Must possess strong review skills to evaluate network performance • Demonstrated experience in network design • Supervising experience to manage network teams effectively • Ability to create and deliver presentations on network operations • Experience working with vendors for network equipment procurement • Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve network issues promptly • Solid understanding of computer networks and networking principles • Ability to liaise between different teams and stakeholders • Engineering background to comprehend and manage network infrastructure • Ability to answer network related queries effectively • Experience in managing network upgrades • Ability to understand and create network specification documents • Experience in configuration management of network devices • Familiarity with various network protocols • Expertise in Windows OS for network operations • Understanding of network framework to manage network operations • Ability to deliver network-related deliverables on time • Degree in Computer Sciences or a related field • Experience in deploying network devices and solutions.
