Job Description A large telecommunications company is looking bring on a Network Planning Engineer II to join their growing team! This resource will be responsible for Managing network elements for DWDM and data primarily in the metro space. This includes monitoring and evaluating capacity utilization for these networks as well as harvesting opportunities where capacity is no longer needed. Daily responsibilities entail preparing network augment plans and specifications from field data, submitting capacity and harvesting augments as necessary, and creation of complex network designs from limited raw sets of data. This is a fully remote opportunity available in the U.S. budgeted to pay $45.50/hr on W2. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
