You'll have... 

A bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience working in network operations role. Also requires 3 years of experience operating with F5 BigIP products (including load balancers); 3 years of experience developing software using Node.js; 3 years of experience working with F5 AS3 (Application Services 3 Extension); and 2 years of experience operating GSLB and DNS services in an F5 BigIP environment. 

We are offering a salary of $97,032.00 - $181,429.20/yr.

What you’ll be able to do: 

Network Product Service Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Position reports to Dearborn, MI office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Provide assistance to all network automation developers and other service teams needing to supply to or demonstrate that automation. Provide engineering, planning, and provisioning of infrastructure required to facilitate the operation of our services, including that for our customers consumption as well as the servers and load balancing equipment we use to provide our own application services with. Assist and maintain load balancing deployments using IaC (Infrastructure as Code) methodologies to maintain consistent and auditable records of said deployments. Assist customers (application teams) with issues involving the delivery or security of their applications. Provide custom development of API and GUI tooling to support their usage in an effort to automate network functionality and augment vendor provided SDN (Software Defined Networking) solutions. Responsible to support all functions of our custom API and tooling in a team environment operating 24/7 including: whole datacenter migrations of thousands of applications, sweeping changes of network address space, changes in security standards, certificate, or encryption algorithms as a global standard (often results in thousands of changes to live production infrastructure in short windows), idempotent deployments of net-new applications in bulk or scripted requests, mass migration of IaC (Infrastructure as Code) deployments of AS3 declarations between load balancers to facilitate evergreen movement of load balancing equipment, staged and automated roll-out of upgraded operating system or patches for load balancing equipment., and lists of DNS change integrations with the ability to service both old and new load balancer targets to facilitate application migrations without an outage in service. Provide periodic audit and analysis of application deployment data.
