As the Telecommunications Property / Leasing Manager you will support the team in maintaining tenure across Telstra’s Network sites whilst ensuring that Balance Sheet liability for Network Leasing is maintained flat or improved.

Engage with internal stakeholders regarding mobile, fixed and small cell network requirements and deployments and help secure agreements in accordance.

Assist with management of supplier (property and legal services) governance frameworks to provide accurate and timely network leasing prioritisation, reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Supporting the Telco Property Transaction team across all aspects of tenure renewals, negotiations and portfolio data analysis and financial management.Involvement in the oversight and control of the division's appropriate governance and reporting framework to drive tenure completions. Assist with managing and aligning external service provider effort across transactions, lease administration, legal and advisory.Contribute to the management of the annual lease renewal program cycle and minimize and mitigate any holdover position.Establish and maintain working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support the operations of Telstra Property and Services

We are part of a wider group that manages all Property (including retail, office, industrial) and assets such as vehicle fleet and there will be exposure to all activity.

From an experience perspective, some of the following would be advantageous:

A working knowledge of the Australian Carrier Network Property market and transaction protocols and / or some site acquisition (SAED) experience. ​Tower Company and or inter Carrier colocation knowledge / experience would be beneficial as would previous experience working with TelstraSome exposure to the management of (or working for) external suppliers charged with delivering Telco Lease completions.A demonstrable data driven and results oriented mindset and commercial / financial acumen.Some understanding of relevant Telecommunications Carrier rights, legislation and regulatory requirements.
