EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Network Systems Engineering, Data Science, Telecommunications, or a related field from an accredited US institution.
Good understanding of network systems, network standards, and distributed computing. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++. Ability to conduct data analysis and model network performance scenarios. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex technical concepts.As part of our Network Systems and Security Research team, you will engage in one or more of the following activities:
Contribute to research projects aimed at enhancing network reliability, security, and deterministic performance. Analyze and model application performance dependencies on network infrastructure. Collaborate with researchers to develop proof-of-concept solutions as part of the Unified Networking Experience (UNEXT) initiative. Contribute to the evaluation and deployment of innovative network solutions leveraging advanced AI/ML techniques. Develop AI/ML algorithms to analyze, predict, and optimize network behavior. Prepare technical reports and present findings to the Nokia Bell Labs teams and leadership.
