What you`ll do

 

Summary:

 

The SAP Network Engineering CCloud Unit is looking for an accomplished Network Security leaders to drive the vision for Cloud Networking, as a member of its Network Engineering Unit.  Our mission is world-class secure uptime and scalability at the lowest total cost of ownership.

 

The Role:

 

Establish firm partnering relationships within the PlusOne Unit, SAP Lines of Business, Vendor community, and peer expertise to create, maintain, and execute against a vision for emerging networking needs Identify Gaps between our as-is operational architecture and operational needs (present and future), and ensure there are plans to extend, modify, or change our architecture as needed for customer and operational needs  Perform Due Diligence to Identify differences – positive or negative – in Network Operations and Security & Compliance practices.  Make gap closing recommendations, as well as Identify firm transition roadmaps and strategies for integrating these cases when business needs dictate Drive stability and high availability of customer facing solutions, and increase profitability through architecture, design, and TCO improvements Working with the delivery experts in PlusOne, inform relevant standards for networking excellence across the delivery team boundaries

 

You must demonstrate the ability to be successful in a fluid, agile, and team-oriented environment.  In addition, you must excel in all areas of business analysis, problem solving, communication and consensus building in a complex matrix environment

 

What you bring

 

In-depth experience in business-critical customer facing Cloud / Internet Network design and operations   Expert technical leadership experience in enterprise and large scale operational environments  Expert level experience in Infrastructure Security regulations, compliance and audit (PCI DSS, KRITIS, ISO27001, etc.) Deep experience implementing and adapting network engineering security technologies and processes  Problem solving experience across all functional layers with an emphasis on quick problem resolution  Superior written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with colleagues of all levels.  SAP is a global company, and our primary business language is English.  Expert abilities in developing and documenting network designs and concepts   Ability to Encourage healthy debate between team members and facilitate the decision-making process BS or MS in a relevant field is preferred
