Description: This supplemental staff position will be working with the Network Security team. + Responsible for the redesign and implementation of the state firewall infrastructure that supports data and voice network services in the field and at NC data centers. + Implement new firewall rules based off of change request. + Document and update Network changes and designs. + Architect and implemented 2Factor VPN authentication + Install, configure and maintain IDS/IPS on Cisco ASA5506-Sourcefire + Install and configure Cisco ASA and Palo Alto Firewalls + Troubleshoot network connectivity issue. + Configure and install new firewalls throughout the network. + Review existing firewalls with Firemon and make recommendations to remove firewalls rules not in use. + Test upgrades, updates and configuration changes in VM Ware environment. + Configure and troubleshoot VPN tunnel issues. MUST HAVE - Skills & Qualifications: + Experience installing and configuring Palo Alto Firewalls + Experience with F5 - Load Balancing + Panorama configuration and optimization + State experience is a plus Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
