Network Solution Architect
**Description** Leidos’s Office of Technology, Digital Modernization Sector team currently has an opening for a Network Solution Architect with a well-rounded expertise in current Enterprise Networking technologies, Infrastructure Management and Digital Modernization to support our growing portfolio of Enterprise IT solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing solutions and crafting proposals that address the full spectrum of Network and Enterprise services for IT services contracts. You will collaborate with multi-IT teams and have familiarity with End User Services, Data Center, and Cloud infrastructure, App migration, and Cyber Security to ensure our solutions are comprehensive, competitive, and aligned with industry best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to use your technical expertise and leadership experience in support of our US Federal Information Technology customers. A Leidos Solution Architect (SA) is a skilled technical professional who has developed broader skillsets needed to provide full scope solutions for internal or external technical needs, ranging from solution development on a capture, supporting an active program, and supporting growth initiatives. An SA supports these assignments with a growth and innovation mindset while continuously refining their skillsets. Lastly the SA has exceptional communication skills that allows them to lead collaboration across teams and document the solution for high level leadership understanding as well as working level detailed evaluations. Candidates should either possess or be capable of obtaining a DoD Clearance at the Secret level. Primary Responsibilities •Serve as a lead technical architect across the ‘new business’ pursuit lifecycle and within an integrated growth team, including proposal, capture, and business development activities. •Provide end-to-end thought leadership across proposal responses that include elements such as technical solution, partners, staffing, implementation schedule, and Basis of Estimates (BOE). •Lead solution development across the following Network Technology: LAN, WAN, CAN, Transport, WLAN, Network Defense, and Network Management. •Lead development of notional, logical, and physical solutions diagram and integration of solution into customer’s environment in a manner that fully meets all technical and management requirements. •Lead responses to customer RFI’s, briefings, White Papers and RFPs leveraging Leidos and Partner solutions. •Support customer meetings to understand customer requirements and provide solution presentations to the customer. •Work with teaming partners and product vendors to develop technical solutions, integration of teaming partners’ capabilities, and pricing strategies, etc. •Work with engineering and capture support staff to extract information in a structured process to create winning technical solutions for proposals •Support the startup of our winning proposals •Research, evaluate, and stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies including cloud services. •Prepare and deliver presentations of proposed solutions to internal and external stakeholders, articulating the value and benefits of our approach. Basic Qualifications •Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience. •Broad skillset with a foundation in current Network Technologies (SDx, Zero Trust systems) Infrastructure Management Systems, Wireless, Cloud services, Data Centers, and Edge Computing. •Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks simultaneously while working as part of new business capture and proposal teams •Proven experience in Network Operations and IT service management (ITSM), including familiarity with practices such as configuration management, change management, and incident management. •Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN support and engineering design for voice, data and video networks at Access, Aggregation, and Core network locations. •Understanding of Network virtualization, including hybrid cloud networking at global scale. •Comprehensive understanding of modern service provider TCP/IP data networks using standards and technologies such as: MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF, BGP4, 802.1x, SDWAN •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and translate complex requirements into actionable solutions. •Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders. •Experience in budgeting, cost modeling, and preparing detailed solution documentation. •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills •Excellent written and oral communication capability Preferred Qualifications •Experienced proposing and injecting new technology advancements into ongoing operations. •Experience estimating technical and operations costs and planning delivery of new IT projects. •Experience identifying and assessing business impacts to proposed changes to a largely technical solution or enterprise operations. •Experience with Network Security, Digital Engineering, and Digital Twin modelling. •Knowledge of contract compliance, especially in government or regulated environments. •Certification in ITIL, Security, PMP, or related ITSM frameworks is an advantage. **Original Posting Date:** 2025-01-29 While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above. **Pay Range:** Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
