Seeking an energetic IT Network support Manager to facilitate, administer, and diagnose problems with network equipment. This role requires great communication skills and the ability to be a team player. The ideal candidate would have a good understanding of network products, services & protocols.
Responsibilities:
•Oversee the daily operations of network support, such as monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
•Develop and implement network policies, procedures, and standards.
•Install, configure, and update network software, hardware, and peripheral devices.
•Install, configure, and maintain multi-user software to be accessed from servers.
•Manage security solutions including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
•Provide technical direction to team members and other departments and troubleshoot issues.
•Schedule upgrade & maintenance with limited interruptions to employees and clients.
•Building, configuring, patching, upgrading and troubleshooting of physical and virtual windows servers.
•Conduct regular network performance reviews and implement improvements.
•Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards.
•Evaluate and recommend alternative actions for incident and problem resolution.
Education/Requirements:
•High School Diploma required.
•Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field preferred.
•Server-related experience preferred.
•Knowledge and training in Microsoft-Hyper V environment.
•Experience using Microsoft Azure preferred.
•Valid driver’s license
•Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and security.
•Experience in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $85000.00
