Job Description:
We are looking for a Data Center System Administrator with Network technology and with broad multi-system knowledge to join our dynamic and highly professional team in Sofia. The Data Center System Administrator is responsible for infrastructure monitoring and system administrative tasks of enterprise customers. He/she is responsible for supporting the successful transitioning of new or changed services into operations.
The role would be dedicated to a high-priority MS customer (F500 listed) and provides for needed technical expertise to administer and operate a complex High-performance computing environment, based on latest and most advanced technologies.
How You Will Make Your Mark:
Operate and administer customer Network , covering: General system updates; System performance; Outage management; Change and capacity managementTriage customer issues remotely to determine and initiate proper corrective actions and assign to respective team members for resolutionProvide leadership in technical incident and problem management and in their resolution, working closely with end customers and HPE staffDevelop action plans to investigate and resolve complex issues/problems and communicate to engineers and customerParticipate/Drive ITIL best practices and active continual improvement.
About You:
University degree in Computer Science or relevant experienceStrong verbal and written communication in EnglishAround 5 years of practical experience in network technologies, routing and switching; additional technical expertise in other technologies is a plusSelf-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsComfortable and effective in combining technical expertise with customer serviceWilling to work “On call” on a team rotating basisAbility to gather data, perform analysis of customer reported issues, produce and keep up to date relevant technical documentationDesire to learn and grow by utilizing and learning new technologiesDesire to challenge how things are done if there is a better wayProactive service orientation.
Key Technical Qualifications
Hands-on experience and in-depth understanding of routing protocols – OSPF, BGP, switching – stacking protocols, VRRP, STP, LACP, VRFVery Good knowledge of the services DHCP, DNS, NAT and RadiusGood understanding of Next-Generation Firewalls, setting up and troubleshooting VPNExperience with operating large and complex environments (Major incident management, Coordination and rollout of maintenances), based on ITIL based practicesFamiliarity with ServiceNow hands-on experienceNice to have:
CCNA/CCNP or equivalentExperience with F5 loadbalancersExperience with Fortinet, Palo Alto and Checkpoint is a plusExperience with Aruba, HPE, Mellanox switches#LI-Hybrid
