Complete Description:  NSA is responsible for Division computer network operations activities and will be performing a variety of complex professional and technical duties related to the installation and maintenance of the Divisions computer network and software systems including network and application servers, Firewall, LAN, and PC workstations. Responsible for the configuration and installation of all network software packages used by the Division. Duties also include the readiness of the IT disaster backup and recovery systems. Works with MIS technical staff to assist with PC Support, User Provisioning process within our Active Directory environment and application Support. Inclusive duties will be -- Plans, maintains all computer network functions for the Division. This also includes Cisco switch configuration and deployment across the Divisions 14 Locations and Fiber optic connectivity, inclusive of establishing layer 3 switch configurations at 12 designated sites. Reviews and implements the maintenance and software updates to all servers in the Division. Responsible for Implementation and maintenance of required web servers, SFTP and FTP sites.  Uplift all existing servers to Server 2012 over the next 12 months. Responsible for the maintaining and creating, comprehensive documentation and diagrams describing the LAN's layout and operational considerations.  Assists with the installation of new network hardware, PC computer, hardware and software systems. Ensures Network and personnel are in compliance with all Operating system Licenses for servers and desktop PC’s to ensure the Legality of usage. Responsible for wireless connectivity for Hamilton office. Ensures wireless connections are secure and safe and meets FBI requirements for 128 bit encryption. Configures and installs complex network management software for WSUS, SCCM and other management software tools as defined by the Division.  Perform monthly review and deployment of system updates as released by Microsoft, McAfee and other 3rd party agents.Responsible for network operations including development and implementation of wiring configuration standards connectivity solutions, overall network operation systems, network software, server hardware configurations, network file systems, directory structure and LAN/WAN system integrity and backup and recovery for all Windows server. Will perform network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
