Description Title: System / Network Admin Location: Addison Duration: 6-month Contract to permanent Pay: 40-55 per hour Network Administration: Manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi networks. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement security measures. Server Management: Maintain and administer servers (Windows and/or Linux), including operating system updates, software installations, performance monitoring, and backups. Help Desk Support: Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving network connectivity problems. Create and maintain help desk documentation. Software Management: Manage software licensing, installations, and updates. Evaluate and recommend new software solutions as needed. Data Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect company data, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls. Ensure data backups are performed regularly and are recoverable. Requirements Proven experience as a System/Network Administrator or in a similar IT role. Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs. Experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
