**Description** SAIC is currently looking for a **Network Lab Engineer/Technician** to support our Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) team located in Lakehurst, NJ. This position is hybrid-remote and requires a minimum of 2 days onsite. **Must be a US citizen. An Interim Secret clearance will need to be obtained prior to start date.** General Overview: Tasks will include the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance. The candidate will: + Buildup of network racks of equipment (firewalls, routers, switches, etc) + Configure and maintain servers /workstations, troubleshooting electronics equipment + Provide support to the program including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices + Analyze user interfaces, maintain hardware and software performance tuning, analyze workload and computer usage, maintain interfaces with outside systems, analyze downtimes, analyze proposed system modifications, upgrades and new COTS **Qualifications** REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: + BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred + At least 5 years’ experience performing a majority of the system administration and network engineering functions listed above + System Administration Skills (Linux & Windows Operating Systems) + Very strong verbal and written communication skills and detail oriented + Be able to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team + **Must be a US citizen.
