We are seeking multiple candidates for the role of Data Center Technician. If you have a background in IT, Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or hold A+ or Network+ certifications, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do: + Un-rack and rack old and new equipment. + Install or remove circuit jumpers to support new network configurations. + Populate switch ports with optical transceivers. + Box and unbox network equipment. + Troubleshoot fiber optic circuits. + Observe safety protocols and complete daily reports. Skills We're Looking For: + Experience with Cable, CAT 5/6, telecommunications, punch down, terminations, pull, cable trays. + Knowledge of wiring, data center operations, cable installation, punch down, cabling, rack and stack, structured cabling, low voltage, and access control. Additional Skills & Qualifications: + Work schedule: Four 10-hour days (Monday-Thursday, 6am-4pm) with opportunities for overtime on other teams. + Location: Fully onsite in Sandston, VA.
