Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site network support.

Primary Responsibilities:

Network technician will provide on-site support to the customer to meet their objective of reducing aged IT infrastructure. This work includes:

Physical inventory of IT assets.

Reconciling and normalizing customer hardware asset inventory data records in the System of Record (SOR) asset management database, HP Asset Manager.

Aged infrastructure information technology hardware assets such as laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, voice gateways, servers, Automated Call Distribution System (ACD), and other peripherals must be identified, located, sanitized, encrypted as necessary (server and ACD hard drives), and packaged for transfer to the sanitization site for disposal.

In conjunction with the physical removal and disposal of the aged infrastructure, asset management data reconciliation must be performed to normalize the HP Asset Manager database, to improve its data accuracy, currency, and completeness.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of relevant experience in Network Operations Support; or bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience in Network Operations Support.

Demonstrable experience with leading a technical team while working with leadership and engineering to provide new solutions that support company objectives.

Ability to collaborate well with stakeholders (work closely with the stakeholders).

Desire to work in a high business tempo environment that spans many LAN/WAN technology disciplines.

US Citizenship and able to obtain security clearance.

Strong experience with the following: Cisco router and switch installation/deinstallation and configuration,

Desired Qualifications:

CCNA or equivalent desired

Familiarity with HP KISAM, or similar ITSM ticketing systems
