Job DescriptionAt Bosch Research in Pittsburgh, we are looking for research interns to join our team in developing novel technologies at the intersection of knowledge representation and machine learning. More specifically, the intern will help to develop neuro-symbolic AI algorithms and methods for use in autonomous driving applications. This may include research related to graph neural networks, knowledge graph embeddings, link prediction, explainability, etc. The internship role will focus on the following responsibilities:
Design and development of novel neuro-symbolic AI algorithms, implementation and evaluation using autonomous driving data from BoschTechnical discussions and creation of new ideas within the existing research team, to improve upon the existing solutionsClean, efficient, and well-documented implementation of new neuro-symbolic AI methodsPublish at leading AI conferences, and ultimately shape the future of Bosch products and servicesQualificationsPursuing or starting a PhD degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics2+ years of programming experience, in particular Python2+ years of experience with neuro-symbolic AI algorithms and toolkits (PyG, PyKEEN, PyTorch, etc.) Broad knowledge of neuro-symbolic AI theory and principlesEstablished publication record in Machine Learning or Knowledge Graphs or related fieldsExcellent communication skillsAdditional InformationThe U.S. base salary range for this intern position is $29.00-$56.50 hourly.
