Atlantic Health System, is seeking Per-Diem Neurodiagnostic Technologists for the Neurodiagnostics Departments at Overlook Medical Center, Morristown Medical Center, Chilton Medical Center, Newton Medical Center and Hackettstown Medical Center.  We are hoping technologists could be flexible amongst multiple locations, however we are looking for technologists for each region. Hours available could be day, evening and overnight given the hospital’s staffing needs; including weekends.

Essential Function/Responsibilities:

As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, studies performed will encompass: routine/sleep deprived EEGs, long-term monitoring including Video EEGs/Ambulatory EEGs, invasive monitoring with intracranial grids/strips. Will work with a wide variety of hospital environments and patient types including: neonate through adult patient populations, Neuro ICU, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU and Behavioral Health environments. Employees must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting. Responsible for both live and intermittent monitoring of VEEG patients. Must be competent in seizure pattern recognition for all patient populations. Must be skilled in their ability to provide a technologist's impression of their studies and be able to relay pertinent information to their partnering physicians. 

Qualifications/Requirements:

HS Diploma/GED Required. To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English. Candidate must have completed a clinical Neurodiagnostic internship.

Relevant Experience:

Minimum of 1-year clinical experience preferred. Must have working experience in a hospital setting.

License/Certification (required):

Graduate/Certificate from an accredited Neurodiagnostic Program. Must have R. EEG T., or be able to sit for the ABRET registration exam.
