Work Schedule: 

90% FTE, evening/night shift. 3x12 hour shifts Friday/Saturday/Sunday 6:00PM – 6:30AM. No call shifts required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

 

Pay:

External hires may be eligible for up to a $2,700 sign on bonus.

We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech II to:

Conduct complex electroneurodiagnostic procedures and review, analyze and prepare descriptive report following procedure.  Complete daily laboratory operations with the main emphasis on high quality patient related procedures which adhere to guidelines and technical standards.  Interact with the patient and family regarding procedural direction and information, developing patient rapport and confidence. Implement alternative methods and/or make necessary adjustments to obtain optimal recording, adapting procedure to particular clinical circumstance.  Assist with monitoring digital recording systems during intraoperative procedures such as carotid endarterectomies, cerebral aneurysm surgery and thoracic aneurysm repair.

Education:

Minimum – Graduate of an electroneurodiagnostic tech program.  Four (4) years of relevant training and experience may be considered in lieu of graduation from an electroneurodiagnostic tech program in addition to the experience below.

 

Work Experience:

Minimum – One (1) year of experience as a practicing clinical Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist.

 

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – 

1) Current registry by the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists as a Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT).

2) CPR Certification.
