The CNP Technologist II functions as the multi-skilled component of the neurodiagnostic laboratories’ technical staff performing electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials, Autonomic and/or Nerve Conduction Studies. The technologists are responsible for complete and accurate patient preparation, data acquisition, providing a safe testing environment and must demonstrate competency, skill and knowledge in neurodiagnostic procedural testing in the area of hire. Must be highly organized, efficient, and able to work independently. As our Mayo Clinic Neurology department continues to grow in innovation, education, and technology, we are looking for amazing Neurodiagnostic Technologists to join our team. This position can be filled by a Tech I, II or III. Our technologists are responsible for complete and accurate patient preparation, data acquisition, providing a safe testing environment, and must demonstrate minimum competency, skill, and knowledge in neurodiagnostic procedural testing in the area of hire. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM, CAP, ABEM, CNCT, R.NCS.T.) is required in the laboratory of hire. **Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of Neurodiagnostics experience + Must be a current Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist to apply + Registries include specific certification through ABRET – Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation (R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM and CAP); American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM; CNCT) and/or AAET - The Nerve Conduction Association (R.NCS.T.). Must have current certification in Basic Life Support. Associate’s degree preferred. Computer skills required. Demonstrated leadership abilities including above average communication skills (verbal and written).
