Neurology Account Manager, Alzheimer's
Job Description SummaryAs a Neurology Account Manager at GE HealthCare you will also be knowledgeable and speak to customers about GE HealthCare’s SPECT Dopamine Transporter Imaging Agent (DaTscan) and quantification software DaTQUANT to support the diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease. You will work closely with your Parkinson’s counterpart to co-call, share leads, and collaborate on territory management and account strategy. This is an exciting position in a rapidly growing market. There is a large unmet need in this space and this position brings new diagnostic tools and solutions to the dementia market.

Alzheimer’s is a priority care area for GE HealthCare (GEHC) with significant growth potential for our PET Amyloid Imaging Agent (Vizamyl) to support the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease. As a Neurology Account Manager, Alzheimer’s, your primary responsibility will be selling GE HealthCare’s PET Amyloid Imaging Agent (Vizamyl). This is a wing-to-wing, multi-faceted Account Manager role that has multiple call points and strategic priorities. Call points include PET Imaging Centers, PET technologists, Radiology Management, Radiologists, and Supply Chain. In addition, the role calls on Dementia Specialists to provide education on our PET Amyloid agent, reimbursement resources, etc. to drive demand for the product into Imaging Centers utilizing Vizamyl. Third, a critical call point are pharmacy partners who manufacture the product and in-field collaboration to drive new business.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

Developing and executing on a multi-faceted territory plan that includes partnering with hospitals / imaging centers to offer imaging services that utilize Vizamyl for Amyloid PET ImagingUnderstand product differentiators and position Vizamyl as the product of choice in a highly competitive marketplaceIdentify the top referring prescribers, create relationships, and appropriately impact the decision-making criteria to help increase awareness about Vizamyl for PET Amyloid ImagingBe a trusted advisor to Imaging Centers and Referrers to help customers navigate new amyloid PET imaging marketplaceCollaborate with reimbursement market access support teams to optimize payor contract implementation and satisfaction across imaging centers and hospitalsCollaborate with pharmacy channel partners to meet the customer’s product delivery goals and expectationsUnderstand the goals and clinical benefits of GE HealthCare’s Neurology team (Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s products) and collaborate with Parkinson’s team member to best serve customers and drive total business to GE HealthCarePre-call planning and in-call questioning to understand customer needs, craft solutions and drive utilizationMonitor territory plan performance and results, collaborate on next action steps with cross-functional partnersVirtual selling and cold calling to new and existing targetsProviding pricing strategy, price negotiation and contract management, and ensuring pricing compliance for segment opportunitiesForecasting orders and sales of assigned territory and submit weekly progress reportsRepresenting the company at healthcare conferences and seminars to promote our products and companyHave a deep understanding of the Imaging Center / Hospital department goals, needs, workflow, financial expectations, etc. around PET imaging.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or valid and current certification through the NMTCB or AART5+ years sales experience or relevant experience in a medical, healthcare, technical, pharmaceutical or Life Sciences fieldExperience selling into hospitals, contracting, and supply chain or relevant clinical experience in a healthcare settingProven track record of sales success, developing, organizing and implementing sales plans, meeting and exceeding sales targets, and penetrating new accounts/markets/competitive through proficiency in prospecting, lead qualification, sales and negotiations or relevant experience in a healthcare organization leading successful adoption of new ideas, programs, or initiatives.Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives while operating in compliance with regulatory guidelinesDemonstrated communication skills, analytical skills and Nuclear Medicine/PET/pharmaceutical industry acumenDemonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities through effective organizational, people, and time management skillsMust be willing to reside in the territoryMust be willing and able to do 20% overnight travel
