Neurology KOL and Stakeholder Engagement Lead
Job Description SummaryThe Neurology KOL and Stakeholder Engagement Lead will lead strategic efforts to build relationships and partnerships with key opinion leaders, professional societies, and industry associations in the neurology molecular imaging space. This role focuses on advancing the adoption of new cardiac myocardial perfusion imaging technologies by fostering advocacy, developing educational programs, and driving stakeholder engagement. The Engagement Lead will spearhead peer to peer programs, educational initiatives, and collaborations with industry stakeholders to help position the company as a leader in the neurology molecular imaging field. This role is pivotal in advancing neurology molecular imaging by fostering trust and engagement within the professional community and with industry stakeholders.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1.       KOL Engagement:

o   Establish connections with leading neurology and nuclear medicine KOLs to help inform commercial and marketing strategy.

o   Identify KOLs who can provide expert opinions if GE Healthcare has a legitimate business need for the advice (e.g., for educational and advocacy initiatives).

o   Design and implement strategies to support the adoption of myocardial perfusion imaging technologies for appropriate patients.

2.       Society and Association Engagement:

o   Develop and manage relationships with professional societies

o   Represent the company at key industry events, forums, and working groups.

o   Collaborate when appropriate on society-developed educational and advocacy initiatives, while respecting and maintaining the independence of the society/association.

3.       Stakeholder Education:

o   Create and execute educational programs tailored to imaging professionals, cardiologists, and referring physicians.

o   Organize speaker programs, ad boards, and training sessions

o   Ensure alignment of educational materials with clinical needs and regulatory requirements.

4.       Awareness Initiatives

o   Develop awareness materials and programs to increase awareness of diseases, treatment, and technological advancements

o   Partner with internal cross-functional teams to create consistent and impactful messaging and communications tailored to stakeholder needs

o   Collaborate with advocacy and industry groups to design and execute awareness campaigns

5.       Advocacy Initiatives:

o   Develop strategies to enhance industry standards and guidelines related to molecular imaging for neurology.

o   Provide support for regulatory agency interactions and communications as needed.

o   Lead initiatives to position the company as a thought leader in neurology molecular imaging.

6.       Cross-functional Collaboration:

o   Partner with marketing, sales, clinical, and R&D teams to ensure alignment on messaging and strategy.

o   Work with global teams to leverage resources and insights for regional strategy execution.

o   Follow review and approval processes for any fee for service arrangements with healthcare professionals, healthcare institutions, patient advocacy organizations or patients.

o   Ensure external communications/materials are approved through the appropriate process prior to use (e.g. advertising and promotional review/medical review).

Key Capabilities & Qualifications:

·       Deep understanding of neurology and/or nuclear medicine, particularly myocardial perfusion imaging.

·       Proven experience in KOL engagement, advocacy, or professional society collaboration in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

·       Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

·       Expertise in planning and executing educational and promotional programs.

·       Strategic thinking with a track record of driving initiatives that impact industry guidelines or standards.

·       Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

·       Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to interactions with healthcare professionals, healthcare organizations and patient advocacy organizations. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

·       Excellent problem-solving skills

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $170,400.00-$255,600.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
