Job Posting Title: Neurophysiology Tech I, IONM Location: Dallas - Hospital Additional Posting Details: Monday - Friday 20 hours per week 6:45am - 5:15pm Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities + Helps set up monitoring equipment while assuring patient safety. + Communicates effectively with team members. + Performs routine testing under supervision; writes a descriptive technical analysis. + Has hospital training to alert supervisor and/or activate hospital system such as rapid response, cardiac arrest, etc… per established protocols when encountering patient clinical issues. + Communicates with team members. + Follows policies and procedures for department and hospital. + And other duties assigned. Required Skills/Abilities + Associate degree or a graduate from a CAAHEP accredited ND program CoA-NDT, CAAHEP. + Bachelor’s degree preferred. + It is expected that trainee (no experience) new hires will obtain CNIM certification within 3 years of hire date. + It is expected that IONM experienced new hires will obtain CNIM within 2 year of hire date. + One (1) year or more experience working in a patient care environment. + Pediatric experience preferred. Working Environment + Working Conditions: Inside + Working Position: Sitting, Standing, and Walking + Physical Demands: Medium + Physical Requirements: Lifting/Carrying, Pushing/Pulling, Climbing, Crawling, Balancing, Stooping/Kneeling/Bending, and Repetitive Movements + Lifting or carrying between 35 - 50 lbs. + Sensory/Communicative activities essential to the performance of this position: Hearing, Seeing, and Speaking + This position will be exposed to Inside Environments, Bloodborne Pathogens, Chemical Hazards, and Respiratory Hazards At Scottish Rite for Children, we work together with the common goal of helping give children back their childhood.
