ChristianaCare is currently seeking a full-time Neuropsychologist for our Swank Memory Care Center in Wilmington, DE.

In this role, you will work collaboratively to improve the quality of care to Swank Memory Center patients through psychological services.  These include, but are not limited to, psychological assessment, testing and group psychotherapy.  In addition, staff psychologists provide interdisciplinary consultation, training, and collaboration.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

See patients for neuropsychological evaluation/testing who are referred by Swank Memory Center clinicians for possible neurocognitive/neurodegenerative disorders.Develop cognitive testing protocols for Swank Memory Center patients undergoing infusion-based Alzheimer’s disease monoclonal antibody treatments. Developing cognitive testing protocols for patients undergoing treatment and assessment at Swank Memory Center.Possibility for provision of psychotherapy services to Swank patients and caregivers.Provide education to fellow Swank staff clinicians, trainees, community members.Work with ChristianaCare and Swank Leadership to expand care and access to neurocognitive/memory disorders across Delaware and ChristianaCare’s catchment area.Potential for research activity/support.Support and promote the mission of Swank Memory Center and ChristianaCare.Performs work safely, adheres to established departmental and corporate safety rules and practices.  Reports to supervisor in a timely manner any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Doctoral level psychologist who has obtained degree from accredited university required.APA approved Doctorate in clinical Psychology required.APA approved clinical internship required.

Special Requirements:

Delaware license or license eligible.
