Neuroscience Administrative Summer Intern

As an intern, you will work with our clinical and nonclinical professionals and be afforded the opportunity to contribute to the care provided through medical practice operations, as well as clinical operations in the Neurology department. This role will provide insight on the importance of community outreach and how patient satisfaction plays in the overall patient experience.
Responsibilities include:
• Research and develop strategies to improve patient experiences
• Develop gap analysis for internal Neuroscience programs, to identify future needs
• Work directly with leadership on individual deadline specific projects
• Working with clinical teams on data management and data retrieval
• Develop quality metrics with Neurodiagnostic/Neurosurgical clinical team and third party vendors; while coordinating with current policies
• Collaborate with clinical teams and social workers to set up educational sessions to include CME, symposia, support groups, etc.
• Work with clinical team and medical education team to develop the Epilepsy Patient management care meeting to one that supports/provide CME credits
• Work with MEG team to retrieve data for research initiatives Develop workplace platforms and posts for outreach
• Work on updating and developing marketing materials
• Participate in any program process improvement initiatives, including report out to clinical team
Other projects as assigned Day to Day activities:
• Meet with clinical team and manager for daily updates
• Coordinate and take part in project meetings
• Provide weekly project updates
+ Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University
+ Be in good academic standing
+ US Citizen or Permanent Resident
+ Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
+ Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2025 - August 2025
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Proficient in MS Office (Specifically Excel)
+ Strong presentation skills
+ Strongly prefer interest in pre-med, biology, nursing, healthcare administration, business, or similar research related field
