Reporting to the EAA Distributor Director, the New Account Acquisition Manager for ABS is responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new clients and expanding market reach globally.
This role focuses on identifying and securing high-profile clients, developing strong relationships, and negotiating large-scale deals to meet revenue and profit targets.
The position requires strategic thinking, market expertise, and the ability to engage with senior executives to promote and sell solutions.
You Will Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and evaluate the competitive landscape.Generate leads, prospect new market routes, and negotiate commercial agreements to expand market share.Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement solutions that drive sales and improve customer experience.Transition new business relationships to regional managers for long-term management.Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and third-party partners.Work with finance teams to manage budgets, provide forecasts, and track performance in targeted markets.Develop strategic partnerships with organizations such as governments, NGOs, and dairy processors to establish long-term agreements.Monitor competitor activity, anticipate market trends, and recommend proactive strategies.Implement action plans that align with business objectives to maximize profitability and sales.Key Skills & CompetenciesCustomer Focus: Build strong, long-term client relationships and exceed expectations.Market Awareness: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor strategies.Results-Driven: Set high standards, deliver results, and drive continuous improvement.Strategic Thinking: Develop actionable, risk-aware plans that align with business goals.Change Leadership: Effectively lead and support business transformations.Decision-Making: Analyze opportunities and challenges to make informed business decisions.Collaboration: Work across teams and build strong networks to drive success. Requirements Education: Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or Business Management with a track record of professional development.Experience: Business Development or International Sales experience in B2B sales. Background in the agriculture or bovine genetics industry is a plus.Skills: Excellent communication, planning, and negotiation abilities. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.Other: Valid driver's license. Willingness to travel up to 50%.
