Are you a driven professional with a passion for building relationships and securing new business? Alloga UK, part of Cencora is seeking a New Business Engagement Manager to join our innovative Business Development team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our business by identifying and engaging potential clients within the healthcare sector.

Job Title: New Business Engagement Manager

Reports To: Head of Business Development

Location: South Normanton, Derbyshire - Hybrid Role (50% Office and 50% Remote)

Salary: Competitive + Company Bonus & Car Allowance

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition: Research, identify, and foster relationships with key decision-makers in target companies to secure new profitable business.

Lead Generation: Manage the full cycle of business opportunities from lead generation to implementation, ensuring a seamless transition for new clients.

Market Intelligence: Assist the Head of Business Development by updating market data, competitor intelligence, and client presentations.

Sales Proposals: Create and present tailored proposals and contracts, negotiating terms to optimize profitability and fit.

Collaboration: Work closely with the wider business and the Implementation Manager to ensure successful implementation of new clients.

Networking: Maintain a robust network of contacts in the healthcare industry and proactively communicate with potential clients.

What We’re Looking For:

Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to articulate Alloga UK’s value proposition.

Negotiation Expertise: A proven track record in successfully negotiating contracts and closing deals.

Analytical Mindset: High degree of numeracy and proficiency in Excel to assess client data and prepare cost models.

Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and take initiative in driving new business opportunities.

Flexibility & Adaptability: Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications:

Educated to degree standard, ideally in a relevant field.

Experience in developing contract-backed logistics solutions, preferably in the pharmaceuticals or healthcare sectors.

Knowledge of NHS and government contracts, including tender portals.

Familiarity with supply chain concepts and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
