**Job Description**
As a New Business Sales Representative specializing in business-to-business sales, you will be at the forefront of acquiring new business and expanding our customer base. Your primary focus will be on prospecting, cold calling, and engaging with potential clients face-to-face to promote and sell waste and recycling services. With lucrative commission potential, this role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and drive revenue growth by securing new accounts, while embracing the unique opportunity presented by the launch of NYC's Commercial Waste Zoning Law. Sales reps will be deployed to a new zone within the city approximately every three months as new zones are announced, providing fresh opportunities for customer acquisition and revenue generation.

+ Conduct daily street-level solicitation of businesses to promote and sell waste and recycling services.
+ Identify and pursue opportunities for growth within your assigned Commercial Waste Zone, targeting businesses that require waste management solutions.
+ Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with prospective clients, leveraging strong communication and negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial agreements and achieve sales targets.
+ Follow up with leads and prospects in a timely manner, providing additional information, addressing concerns, and overcoming objections to advance the sales process.
+ Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets, with a focus on securing new contracts.
+ Utilize effective sales techniques and negotiation skills to overcome objections, address customer concerns, and close deals.
+ Collaborate closely with the sales team, operations, and customer service departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
+ Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
+ Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account updates in the CRM system.

**Qualifications**
**Skills/Experience Requirements**
+ Proven track record of success in commercial sales, preferably in waste management or a related industry.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
+ Results-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed sales targets and maximize commission potential.
+ Strong business to business prospecting skills, with the ability to identify and engage decision-makers at businesses within your assigned waste zone.
+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
+ Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies, with a focus on customer acquisition with contract sales experience.
+ Familiarity with CRM software (e.g, Salesforce) and sales tracking tools is a plus.
+ Fluency in English required, Spanish or Chinese is a plus.
+ Must have geographic knowledge of NYC’s five boroughs.
+ Must be able to reliably commute within the assigned waste zone
+ High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Outside sales representatives also receive a car allowance.
**Salary Range Minimum**
USD $55,000.00/Yr.

USD $140,000.00/Yr.
