Job Title: New Business Sales Representative – HVAC
The core responsibility of this role is to secure new customers by selling maintenance agreements related to commercial and industrial HVAC systems. (HVAC and Controls maintenance agreements). Additionally, the candidate will be tasked with promoting proactive mechanical, energy, and controls projects to both new clients. This position demands the capacity and eagerness to excel in a dynamic, multitasking environment with a primary emphasis on sales, client prospecting, and customer service, often involving travel to potential and current customer locations.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
Grow Service maintenance base by selling commercial HVAC service products & solutions to new and existing customers, including repair service, modernization and service agreements Maintain relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services, always. Work with other branch personnel to ensure great customer service from the order to the delivery and beyond. Identify and pursue prospects is target markets through cold calling and follow-up efforts, expanding the business into new and existing markets. Conduct market research and utilize data to uncover new opportunities and maintain a steady pipeline Introduce other team members to estimate and deliver repair and project proposals that are uncovered during prospecting and customer qualification. Perform customer surveys as required/requested to determine opportunities for enhanced energy efficiency through equipment replacement/retrofit and proactive predictive maintenance Develop and maintain vendor relations Obtain manufacturers’ certifications required to perform job function, as applicable Complete proper scheduling and execution of monthly calls as assigned by management Execute all Company processes and complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge in order to promote a professional image in the field Attend related trade association and business associations events to further develop relationships.
