We are excited to launch another New Grad Nurse Residency program for Spring (March) 2025!
The program is open to students who are graduating with a BSN or ASN degree this spring, or have recently graduated and are pursuing a residency program in an acute care setting.
Lowell General Hospital Nurse Residency Program is accredited as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs.
The ANCC Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP) sets the global standard for residency or fellowship programs that transition registered nurses (RNs) into new practice settings. The Lowell General Hospital Nurse Residency program demonstrates excellence in transitioning nurses to new practice settings.
To be considered, you must complete an online application and attach your resume, a cover letter and indicate your top three specialties / units.
We are offering placements in Medical Surgical, Stepdown/Intermediate Care and Emergency Departments for this session.
Timeline:
Conducting interviews in late January!
Decisions will be announced in early February.
A program start date of early March will also be offered.
An additional program start date of May, 2025 will be offered.
Qualifications:
Graduating from an accredited nursing program with an ASN or BSN this spring or earlier
Current employee of Tufts | Lowell General Hospital receive first consideration
Valid Massachusetts RN license by August 15th, 2024
Must be willing to make a two-year commitment to remain with LGH upon completion of the program
