Position Summary: The Registered Nurse Resident works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse Resident will provide specific care to assigned patient(s) as required under the scope of the RN license and under the direction of a RN Preceptor.The residency program provides a comprehensive period where RNs can fill the gap between school and the actual requirements of practicing nurses. Residents receive classroom instruction, skills and simulation labs and debriefing and mentoring sessions. RN Residents will rotate through departments to ensure varied clinical experience.
