Overview

The New Homes Performance Specialist manages, schedules, and completes all service and warranty related work.

Responsibilities

Organizes, leads, and maintains the warranty and service scheduleWorks with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and the Branch Manager to allocate labor resources to service and warranty projectsSupports training and development for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications TechnicianLeads regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practicesSupports the on-boarding and training of new members of the field performance teamRegularly exceeds defined goals for field performance key performance indicators including but not limited to turnaround time, experience rating and average dispatches completedSupports inspections and site audits when needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent1 year field construction or solar experience requiredPV design or PV electrical experience is preferredMust maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.Valid state or local Electrical Journeyman certification or license preferred. Depending on state requirements an Electrical Journeyman certification or license may be requiredKnowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standardsMust be a motivated team player, looking to succeedProven track record of excellent customer serviceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong computer skillsWorking knowledge of current NEC codesAbility to interpret single line drawings and PV systems from roof to meterDemonstrates knowledge of electrical principles as it pertains to solar interconnection/tie-in and code and how PV systems operateUnderstands interconnection activities and basic construction principlesAdheres to company safety policies and procedures including ability to identify and report safety hazards, and the ability to encourage others to work safelyAbility to establish rapport, build relationships and loyalty with external and internal customers and coworkers, and remains tactful when communicatingProven ability to meet deadlines and key metricsWorks independently, as a team player, and drives results in a fast paced, team based environment.Solid logical decision making and troubleshooting skills with the ability to problem solve in a timely and effective mannerExercises good judgmentTakes ownership of issues or questions and will escalate problems to the appropriate persons and follow up accordingly with the customer

Physical Demands

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

$27.11 to $36.15

Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.  Sunrun provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
