Summary

The New Product Integration (NPI) Manager is responsible for operations based, strategy, planning and execution of new product launches in conjunction with the program management office. Responsible for defining, developing and executing all program level plans focused on operations to successfully meet all phases of the program. This includes product cost, quality, manufacturing, tooling, test, supply chain and logistics. The NPI Manager's primary goal is to drive and ensure flawless transition of product-specific deliverables from design into manufacturing meeting or exceeding program objectives.

Position Responsibilities

Ensures site factories/Functional Operations organizations are adequately executing efforts to meet program objectivesSuccessful operations strategy, of smaller scope programs, varying in complexity planning and execution of all new products integrating into production environment.Coordinate operational tasking, deliverables, budget and schedule associated with manufacturing readiness and manufacturing maturation.Ensure a smooth transition from development into operations.Responsible for both internal and external NPI performance objectives, including, cost, schedule, technical and performance.Responsible for product operations strategies, business cases, and NPI execution related to product portfolio management.Must support the rollout, standardizing and continuous improvement of NPI processes, plans, metrics, built into the product development and launch framework Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceMinimum of 5 - 8 years' experience in New Product Introduction, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing Supply Chain, Program Management or other related function, combined with leadership or Management responsibilitiesExperienced in EACs/Risk/Opportunity Management/Gate Review processesExperience in developing program plans, budgets and schedulesExperience in engineering and production environmentsExperience in Mil-Aero/ DOD programsProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)Knowledge of ERP, MRP, MES, PLM Systems; Knowledge of Proposal/BOEUnderstanding of partnering between Program Management and Operations/ManufacturingExceptional ability to build relationships; data-driven and willing to take action; enthusiastic and motivated; and detailed while managing several work-streamsAbility to travel within the Continental U.S. up to 25%Presently holds or capable of obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance. Occasionally may be required to travel within the Continental U.S.

Experience

Minimum of 5 - 8 years' experience in New Product Introduction, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing Supply Chain, Program Management or other related function, combined with leadership or Management responsibilities

      Experienced in EACs/Risk/Opportunity Management/Gate Review processes      Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)      Ability to adeptly use influence without authority in a matrix organizational structure      Understanding of partnering between Program Management and Operations/Manufacturing      Exceptional ability to build relationships; data-driven and willing to take action; enthusiastic and motivated, and detailed while managing several work-streams            Ability to travel within the Continental U.S. up to 25%

Physical Demands

The salary range for this role is:

$89,630 - $127,050
