New Product Introduction Manager
Title: New Product Introduction Manager Location: Santa Clara, CA Job Term: Full Time   The Opportunity: Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing based in Santa Clara, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager to join our team and drive the successful launch of our next-generation products. As the NPI Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating cross-functional teams and processes to ensure the smooth transition of new products from development to volume production. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to meet aggressive time-to-market goals while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.    Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end NPI process, from initial planning and feasibility assessment to ramp-up and production release. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to track progress and mitigate risks. Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Work closely with the supply chain team to manage component sourcing, procurement, and inventory management to support production ramp-up. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to establish efficient production processes, including equipment selection, layout, and workflow optimization. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance NPI processes, reduce cycle times, and increase productivity. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal teams. Conduct regular reviews and provide status updates to senior management, highlighting key milestones, issues, and risks. Implement robust quality control measures to ensure product reliability, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards. Lead cross-functional teams during product launch activities, including pilot builds, validation testing, and customer trials. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven track record of successful NPI management in a high-technology environment, preferably in the semiconductor, electronics, or hardware industry. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and drive results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across multiple disciplines and geographies. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements. Experience with ERP/MRP systems, PLM software, and other NPI tools and methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail. Proven leadership ability, with a track record of motivating teams and driving alignment towards common goals. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with a high degree of ambiguity and uncertainty. Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as needed.     Salary & Benefits: The base salary range for this full time position is, $95,000-$115,000 USD. Your base salary and title will be determined based on the location, experience, qualification, skills, and knowledge, level, and pay of other employees in similar positions.
