This position is devoted to providing enterprise technological support, data analysis, business analysis and quality assurance for the City’s new Next Generation ERP solutions. As the city moves from the Tyler MUNIS ERP system to Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, and EPM systems, this position will have strong business and data analysis skills. Collaborating with stakeholders throughout the city to ensure business needs are understood and met in the new system is crucial. Position will be responsible for reviewing data for accuracy and quality; researching and analyzing data; configuring systems; responding to user requests; writing reports and queries; and performing related duties, as assigned.
Duties/Responsibilities
+ Collaborates with City departments, and/or external agencies; initiates, facilitates and attends meetings and conferences; prepares and makes presentations; provides training; provides subject-matter expertise and consulting; resolves issues; and conducts negotiations, as assigned.
+ Gathering and analyzing data; troubleshooting issues with functionality; modifying the setup of software to accommodate ongoing changes in operations.
+ Creating, developing, and editing interactive dashboards and reports which may include use of SQL, MySQL, Report Builder, or Oracle Fusion Reporting Tools.
+ Working directly with vendors and/or as a team with City departments to address complex system errors and/or issues.?
+ Developing and facilitating training and documentation on enterprise applications systems.
+ Quality Assurance including end-to-end, regression, integration and acceptance testing.
+ Identify enhancements that may be helpful to the city departments, work with the departments on staying current with the software and implementing items of interest.
+ Understand the City’s policies and procedures, especially as it relates to changes in enterprise software systems.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, business administration or directly related field
+ Five years of professional related information technology experience
+ Quality Assurance/Testing software experience
+ End User application ERP support experience (multiple modules preferred)
+ Data analytic skills in development of business intelligence
+ Business/Systems analysis experience
+ Report Writing Experience
Additional Preferred Skills
+ Oracle Fusion experience
+ Report writing and dashboard development experience using Oracle Fusion specific reporting tool a plus
+ Experience using tools to write automated QA testing.
+ ERP implementation experience
+ HR, Finance, and/or Budgeting experience
