Participation in all components of the nGap development programme during the first six (6) years of employment Teach subjects at Diploma, Advanced Diploma as required in the programme. (Visual Communication Design, Media Innovation for Visual Communication Design, Visualisation and History and Theory of Design Perform appropriate academic and administrative duties in the department. Participate in curriculum development. Perform student assessment. Participate in research activities. Participate in the Quality Assurance activities of the Department. Participate in work integrated learning and student visitations. Develop and maintain linkages with industry, professional bodies and local and international institutions of higher education. Assist with marketing and recruitment activities. Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Head of Department
