NGM- Site-Based Solar Project Reporting Specialist

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Site Based Solar Project Reporting Specialist to join our Capital Projects team. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the reporting structure in alignment with the DOE’s requirements, complete the required reports and make sure they are submitted to the DOE before or by the stablished deadlines. In addition to making sure the DOE’s reporting requirements are met this reporting specialist shall assist the project team with some of the day-to-day clerical office work.

Responsibilities:

 

Develop reporting structure based on the Department of Energy (DOE) & Federal Assistance Reporting Checklist (FARC) reporting requirements. Complete and submit reports and deliverables as per the Department of Energy (DOE), Federal Assistance Reporting Checklist (FARC) and Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) reporting and deliverable requirements. Support the project team on meeting the Go/No-Go criteria established by the DOE. Interface with the DOE project team and constantly consult the stablished communication channels to stay up to date on any changes to the reporting and deliverable requirements Engage with the project team and other stakeholders and entities other than the DOE as required to acquire the necessary information to complete reports and deliverables. Interface with and support the engagement specialist with their engagement requirements as needed.  Schedule and Attend meetings with the DOE project team as required throughout the execution of the project Attend internal NGM reporting meetings throughout the execution of the project. Develop a document control structure to properly archive all the generated documentation related to the reports Assist the project team with office clerical work on a need-to basis, such as internal reporting, procurement, invoicing, warehouse reservations, document control, cost control office management, etc. Support the project team on meeting other DOE and OCED requirements outside of reporting on a need-to basis. Preform other duties as required

Qualifications:

B.S. degree in Engineering or related field required 3 or more years of project management experience with demonstrated competency in project reporting preferred 3 or more years of experience meeting reporting requirements for the DOE or any other similar federal institution preferred Experience working with teams of Engineers, Field Staff, and Contractors preferred  Demonstrated computer literacy and practical application of MS Office products including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint required Familiarity with design, visualization, and scheduling software preferred Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders required
