Job Description

Manages and oversee unit operational functions, human resource management, special projects, and process redesign. Coordinates project teams to ensure quality implementations within established timelines. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting; Level 4 NICU experience highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in nursing, education, leadership, or other healthcare related fieldMinimum 1 year of leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Certification Summary

Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure CompactBasic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employmentProfessional Nursing Certification required upon hire or within one year of hire

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

An understanding of process improvement and project managementMust have excellent written and verbal skillsDemonstrates the ability to organize workloads and resourcesHas strong interpersonal skills to interact positively and productively with a variety of personnel within the hospital, including administrative and executive staff
