Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday off Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday 5:00 PM - Completion.

Columbia Loaders make $25.62 per hour.

Main Ingredients of the Job!

As a US FOODS® Loader, you will be responsible for loading all the outbound orders into the designated tractor-trailers in compliance with company procedures and standards. This ensures that the drivers have the product safely stowed and organized for maximum efficiency during the day’s deliveries.

Great Loaders are crucial to the US FOODS® team and one of the important faces of our organization. Our Loaders strives for integrity and reliability while building trusting relationships with team members.

Conduct trailer inspection before loading to ensure the trailer is clean, has the proper temperature, and is ready for loading.Ensure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated products before loading.Load trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and secured. Also, confirm that the load diagram is completed and submitted.Follow all safety work practices and maintain a clean and orderly dock area.

What you bring to the table

Education/Training:

High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Related Experience/Requirements:

A minimum of one year of warehouse experience is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 

Must be pallet jack certified; Good attention to detail.Ability to read load diagrams; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).Must be team-oriented and able to get along with others.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Comfortable working in a multi-temperature indoor/outdoor environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.  The expected base rate for this role is between $25.62 and $30.62. 

This role will also receive overtime compensation.
