 Job Title: Night Assistant Team Leader

CASES is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Assistant Team Leader to join our team at CASES. As a Night Assistant Team Leader, you will provide clinical and administrative oversight to a team of four (4) and growing, supporting the overall clinical and administrative operations of our community supervision, case management, peer support, health, and rehabilitation services.

Salary:  The salary range for the Night Assistant Team Leader position is $72,000 - $77,000 per year. 

Shift Hours: The Night Assistant Team Leader position is full time from Friday to Tuesday 5pm to 1am. 

Location Address: 100 Centre Street, New York, NY 10013

Workplace Flexibility: The Night Assistant Team Leader position is on-site. 

What you will be doing: 

Provide clinical and administrative oversight to a team of four (4) and growing.Support the overall clinical and administrative operations of the community supervision, case management, peer support, health, and rehabilitation services.Manage a specialized caseload of program participants with significant behavioral health needs, co-morbid conditions, and/or complex presentations.Provide recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and gender-responsive services.Conduct in-person field-based services in the community with team members to support staff in their work with participants with elevated risks and needs.Provide transitional support for clients to their home, shelters, treatment programs, and/or other services.Assist clients with linkages to and systems navigation within the behavioral health, human services, and criminal justice systems.Use evidence-based counseling approaches to develop a rapport with participants and develop insight into specified need areas.Provide leadership in management of high-risk and complex care cases.Complete assessments, progress notes, and program data reporting as required by program funders.Develop and maintain excellent professional relationships with judges, prosecutors, defense counsel, and other court partners.Adhere to Supervised Release program protocols and ensure participants at higher risk for criminal recidivism and supervision failure receive intensive supervision.Support internal program auditing activities and complete electronic chart-keeping. activities in accordance with confidentiality regulations, policies, and procedures.

What we are looking for: 

Master’s degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in social work with 2-4 years of supervisory experience.Minimum of two years working in human services with individuals experiencing serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders.Proficiency in evidence-based models and theories, including psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, serious mental illness, and recovery.Understanding of family systems within diverse cultural and ethnic contexts.Highly organized and self-motivated.

Bilingual (Spanish) candidates preferred.
