Welcomes guests by greeting, answering questions, responding to requestsRegisters guests by obtaining or confirming room requirements, verifying pre-registration, assigning rooms, obtaining information and signatures, issuing guest room keysEstablishes credit by verifying credit cards or obtaining cashDirects guests to rooms by showing location on resort mapConveys information to guests by receiving and transmitting messages, mail, facsimiles, packages, etc.Provides concierge duties to guest by answering any inquiries regarding resort and other services guests may require, such as entertainment, shopping, business, and travelMaintains records by entering room and guest account dataCollects revenue by entering services and charges, computing bills, obtaining paymentMakes resort and other reservations by entering or telephoning requirements, checking availability, confirming requirementsSecures guest's valuables by processing lost and found to the housekeeping departmentPrints appropriate reports and distributes to managementPrints or emails express check out folios to be distributed by security to departuresCompletes Manager on Duty trainingAssists accounting in the completion of researching any out of balance amounts each nightBatches credit cards and gift cards, researches variance each nightEnsures operating systems (Micros and OPERA) balance each nightResearches any balances in PI accounts nightly and checks them in and out each nightOrganizes credit card receipts by type nightlyBasic Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma (or equivalent education/experience)Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)Must be flexible regarding schedule, based on business demandsPrevious experience demonstrating strong customer serviceSuccessful completions of a criminal background check and drug screenDesired Qualifications & Skills
